New Clients

In the past, Web Communications has offered web hosting services through two different content management systems – Fatwire and Thinwire. Fatwire is an enterprise level content management system that we plan to phase out by the end of June 2012 and will no longer be offering at Tufts. Thinwire is a homegrown content management system that is a "lite" version of a larger enterprise level CMS. Thinwire is currently being upgraded and existing clients will be migrated to the new version over the Fall 2011 semester. We hope to offer Thinwire 2.0 as a service to all official units within Central Administration starting in Spring 2012. There is a nominal fee associated with this service. Existing Clients

If you are an existing Thinwire client and need assistance, please email thinwire@tufts.edu. We generally respond to all requests each Tuesday. If your request is received before the end of the day Monday, it will be addressed the next Tuesday. If you are an existing Fatwire client and need assistance, please email wccontact@tufts.edu.
